“Studying cells” is quite a broad topic! If we narrow that down to studying Alzheimer’s disease in cells, I think all the researchers who work on that will have a major impact on the world, together. It’s teamwork! Our main aim is to understand Alzheimer’s disease, so that we can treat it. We can’t fix a car if we don’t know how a car works, for example. If all the researchers each contributed a tiny piece of the puzzle, eventually we’ll complete the bigger puzzle of Alzheimer’s disease together. The closer we get to completing the puzzle, the easier it will be to find treatments. And finding a treatment for Alzheimer’s would have a major impact on the world, definitely.
