The short answer is I don’t know.

A longer answer is that what different people think might be paranormal activity will be different for different people. For some people it could be realistic dreams, for some it could be perfectly normal things that they haven’t met before (magnetic levitation is normal but looks really spooky), and for some people they might be being deliberately tricked (by someone like a magician).

I also don’t know the answer to this question. From what I understand, there is no evidence to show that paranormal activity exists, and reports of paranormal activity can be explained with a physiological reason. It could be a dream, or they could have misunderstood what is happening, or just really advanced technology.

I guess it depends on your perspective! The mind is complex – last week I read something about the range of interpretations about the same event and how if you recount somthing multiple times it changes. So easy to see how this could seem real – but is it? And what is real anyway?
