I am neither, but when I cook for myself I eat mostly vegetarian, plant-based food – in fact, a lot of it is naturally vegan! I cook Chinese food a lot and we don’t tend to use dairy products. When I do eat meat, it is always sourced from places where I’m more certain that they’re treated humanely.
I’m thinking of becoming a vegan because thats the kind of lifestyle I would like to lead. It makes me sick thinking about how we get meat and dairy products but milk is practically in everything.:( PS-I also love good Chinese food
That’s some insightful thinking! 🙂 If you do, try it out and do some reading online to see if you’re still getting all the nutrients you need. Maybe you could try cooking some vegan recipes with your family at home, that way you can control what you put in your food! http://ohsheglows.com/ this is one of my favourite vegan food blogs.
PS. Try Indian food too, you can easily find vegetarian/vegan food! There is a whole branch of vegan Chinese food too if you want to do some more research on that! 🙂
