      Yes! Animal cells mutate just like human cells can. In fact, any cell containing DNA can randomly mutate, as every time the cells replicate and divide there is a chance (although low) of getting a random mutation. That’s how we evolve!

      Animals can also get skin cancer. My dog had skin cancer and we had to put him down because he was very old and couldn’t tolerate the surgery.
