Huge fan! In Newcastle-upon-Tyne where I’m working we have award-winning fish and chip shops. Colmans in South Shields (on the coast, 20mins from city centre) is the most famous. I’ve been lucky enough to eat there once, and it was amazing!! When in town, I tend to get battered sausage and cheesy chips though! Mmm.

Oh yes, but not every day! Last had some in Whitby.

Yes, how could I not! Well cooked this is one of my favorites but I do worry about fish stocks and sustainability. I particularly like haddock and wonder if my grand children (should I have any) ever taste it.

Got to be with beans though – no mushy peas for me ??

Favorite fish and chip shop – got to be by the seaside! Somethings Cooking in Pembrokeshire or Whitstable where I am spoilt for choice.

I like it well enough but some places in London just don’t cook it very well! Best I’ve had here in London was at Master’s Superfish near Waterloo station.

I love fish and chips although I more partial to ordering a Saveloy and chips, but you cannot beat a good fish and chips by the seaside.
