Question: Does it not get boring observing gravitational waves?

Certainly not. Only 2 gravitational wave signals have ever been seen, the first of these occurred in September last year, and the second was about Christmas. This was fantastically exciting news and started the whole field of gravitational wave astronomy. The work I’m doing is to try and put similar technology in space to look at the gravitational wave signals, but at very different frequencies to those seen from the ground.
