      I enjoyed it! At that point I didn’t know if I wanted to become a scientist, I just chose subjects that I enjoyed doing and wouldn’t mind working hard at and learning about. I was mainly interested in Genetics, which on the AQA syllabus then was only 1 of the exams, but the thought of doing other subjects that I was good at (like French) was awful because of how bored I would be! My advice would be to choose subjects you enjoy. You’ll be more successful in a career that you enjoy then what looks good, or what people want you to be.
