• Question: How long will the laser in space take to get to its destination?

      LPF took about 2 months to get to its final point, 1.5million kilometers from earth. That is so far away that it takes radio signals 10 seconds to make the round trip. There is lots more information about the spacecraft and the mission here http://www.elisascience.org
