• Question: If you sent a laser through a black hole what do you think would happen and do you think that we will ever be able to create something to explore a black whole?

Sending laser light into a black hole is much like sending any light in, or indeed any physical thing into the black hole. Whatever you send in adds a bit of mass or energy (energy and mass are effectively the same thing once inside E=mc^2) to the black hole so it gets a little bit bigger, and whatever you sent in doesn’t come back out.

As far as we know, you could perhaps create something to explore the black hole, but we don’t know of any way for it to get the information back to us if we stay outside the black hole.
