      Yes.

      Gravity on the surface of the Earth is about 3 times stronger than gravity on the surface of Mars.

      Mars has about 10.7% the mass(M) of the earth and is about half the diameter(d). The force of gravity on the surface depends on M/(d*d), so gravity on Mars is 0.107/(0.53*0.53) = 0.38 times that of Earth
