My mum, my cousin, and my science teachers. They were all very supportive and kept me going with motivational words when I was getting frustrated along the way!

My best friend and a University lecturer! My friend was studying a biochemistry degree and I realised how much I actually wanted to do science. Once I got to University, one of my lecturers helped me out a lot and gave me free work experience in his lab, helped me get my PhD and even now just gives me general advice and support. I owe them both a lot as I’m now doing a great job that I love!
