I had studied Latin at school since I was about 10 and I enjoyed doing it! It’s kind of like maths; it’s a puzzle. The words are never in the right order, and you have different endings at the end of words depending if they’re the subject of the sentence or not. You have to work out what the first word is, where your verb (doing word) is and even then the meaning can change depending on where certain words are in the sentence!

Nowadays, Latin has been helpful in working out medical words and diseases (they usually use Latin or Greek words e.g. encephalopathy which is made up of ἐν (en) “in” and κεφαλή (kephalé), “head” and means disorder in the brain) so I can sound like I know what’s going on! haha.
